The Legend of the Jacaranda Tree

The jacaranda tree is a common sight along roadsides in Australia; it is particularly noted for its beautiful shade of purple when the jacarandas are in flower, which happens sometime in September. And so the saying goes, that if you hadn’t started studying for your University finals by the time the jacarandas had bloomed, you were pretty much doomed!
