ABOUT THE AWARDS

The University Level Teaching Awards are:

Outstanding Educator Award (OEA)
The Outstanding Educator Awards (OEA) is given out annually to honour faculty members who have shown outstanding performance, dedication and commitment to teaching. Recipients of this award will each receive a cash award and a teaching grant. They will also deliver lectures as part of the Outstanding Educator Award Public Lecture Series. Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA)
The Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) recognises faculty members who have displayed a high level of commitment to their teaching for the year under review. For the list of the 2007/2008 award recipients, please click here.

Honour Roll: Faculty members who have won the ATEA three times (from AY 2003/2004) will be placed on the Honour Roll to recognise their sustained high performance in teaching. Please click here for 2009’s list of Honour Roll recipients.
