Nominations for ATEA and OEA are open to all faculty members (full-time or part-time). The nominees should also be current faculty teaching award winners. All nominations must be accompanied with supporting student feedback and peer review reports.

  1. OEA Nominees:
    1. should have taught for at least 3 preceding years (beginning AY 2009/10).
    2. should submit all Student Feedback reports from the last 3 years. Nominees who have not taught for one Academic Year may submit reports from the last 4 years.
    3. should submit all Peer Review reports from the last 3 years.
  2. ATEA Nominees:
    1. should submit all Student Feedback reports from the year under review (AY 2008/09).
    2. should submit at least one Peer Review which is not older than 3 years and preferably conducted within the year of review.

 

** i) Nominees can include part-time and adjunct teaching staff, but not visiting staff.
ii) Part-time teaching staff should have substantial teaching involvement over an extended period; this includes teaching at least one module/semester in its entirety (i.e. not just a part of a team-taught module/course), and engaging in various teaching activities; should be involved, at least, in lecturing, tutoring and assessment.
