Capital Letters

Capital letters (ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ), otherwise known as Upper Case letters can be used in these ways:

at the start of sentences;
for the first letter of names and for initials, abbreviations and acronyms;
for titles and headlines;
to emphasise certain words, especially in instructions (Some writers use bold text for the same effect.);
not for writing or typing out entire documents; whether they are essays, reports, letters or email.
